COVID-19 EVALUATION AND ARCHIVAL PROJECT
ABOUT THE PROJECT
With the support of resolution MAR-22.08, the First Nations Health and Social Secretariat of Manitoba (FNHSSM) is embarking on an evaluation and archival project focused on capturing the First Nations COVID-19 pandemic response in Manitoba. We aim to highlight community initiatives, challenges faced, and lessons learned through the development of a digital space (website) that will house an archive including individuals’ experiences captured through storytelling and documentation of key processes. This project aims to serve as a valuable resource for future generations to understand the resilience and adaptability of First Nations during a pandemic and be better informed for pandemics to come.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We invite First Nations citizens in Manitoba to contribute by sharing photos, videos, audio, and documents from the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020-2023).
